Jenny Stolzenberg Shoe Artist

Shoe drawings we like


We've been busy with  our shoes out in Key Stage 3 and some fantastic line and shade drawings using pencil, charcoal, biro and fine liner.

iCan Draw


To help you improve you can drawings we've added these images of different levels. Remember for the higher levels you will need to:-

- Cross hatch
- Have 5 levels of shade
- Use a rubber to add highlights
- Add surface shadow
- Add detail

Level 6

Level 4a analysis- Good shape, use of 4 levels of shade and use of rubber to add highlights
To improve -  make sure ellipses are parallel, look in more detail at the can ridges adding highlights and shadow and add 5 levels of shade.


Level 3


Level 3a analysis -  Good shape, 2 levels of cross hatching and surface shadow.
To improve - Make sure ellipses are parallel at the top and bottom, detail is accurate showing can ridges and 5 levels of shade.

 
Level 2

Level 2a analysis - Good attempt at shape, some detail has been included showing can ridges and an attempt at adding shade
To improve - Add 3 levels of shade showing light, medium and dark, show outside line of the can at the bottom and add more detail showing the can ridges.

Calling all year 7 and 8 students!

This half term we will be developing skills using pencil looking at shoes. This will mean you need to bring in or photograph shoes you would like to draw.


You can of course use shoes you have on your feet...

Welcome to Art school year 2012!


Hello students and welcome back to art (and to school) for this year 2012-13.

This year we have exciting projects planned for all year groups including sweets, photography and clay.

We have trips planned for years 12 and 13, artists in for GCSE and mini 4 week workshops for KS3.
